Spello is part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy<\/strong> and here, every year on Sunday of Corpus Christi is celebrated with the Infiorata of Spello<\/strong>, a tradition dating back to the seventeenth century. During this festival, the streets of the Umbrian town turn into a vibrant tapestry of flower petals<\/strong> arranged in intricate designs that cover the entire sidewalk.<\/p>\n

The origins<\/strong> of the Infiorata of Spello date back to the religious processions<\/strong> that took place during the Middle Ages.
